Anniversary evening outfit and colab with Jen from LifeUnrefined

Collaborating with the beautiful Jen from LifeUnrefined styling a classy evening outfit and celebrating my 6 year anniversary with this little black dress.

I met Jen a few months ago at the LuckyFabb conference in New York. She is such a sweet heart and I am extremely excited to be collaborating with her. We've decided to do a lovely evening outfit, I mean who doesn't want to get all dressed up for the night? Absolutely the best part of being a girl. I love how Jen adds a classy touch to her everyday style. She is so sweet and graceful.  If you haven't checked her out yet, go to her blog and show her some love, I adore her style and I know you will too.

This past weekend 1/25 marks the 6th year anniversary with my high school sweetheart and love of my life. I was so busy this whole week and gave it all to him to plan our special event. I am beyond impressed. He took me to a cute romantic restaurant in Hollywood, and it felt like little Italy. He's an amazing man, and I am beyond lucky and blessed to call him mine. I love dressing him up, he's like my grown handsome ken doll (hehe).

Here I am wearing a simple little black dress from ANGL, my favorite boutique.
My color-block coat is from SheInside

Thank you so much for all of your support and lovely comments, I read every single one of them and it makes me smile every time.

Laguna playsuit

Jumpsuit: Boutique
Boots: Forever 21
Bag: Just Fab

I've been wanting to cut my hair for the longest, it's always great to start the new year with a new look right? With my birthday around the corner, I was ready for a slight change. I just wasn't sure, what style I wanted, I was too comfortable with my long wavy hair. It's so crazy how much I look like my mom, she always had short hair and horse bangs, so I really wanted to go for that look. Of course, I can never be as beautiful as she was. This weekend will be my 6 year anniversary with my boyfriend, so we had our one week count down this past weekend. We devoted our day together in Laguna beach, because being around the area with the waves splashing, the sun shining, and people laughing felt peaceful and joyful. It's been a stressful week so putting on my cute little jumpsuit, my new knee high boots and hair, strolling on Pacific Coast Highway and finding a lovely place to eat was my ideal for a lovely sunday funday.

Winter White

Top: Forever 21
Skirt: Zi Zi Beh
Boots: Knee high boots Forever 21
Hat: Forever 21
Handbag: Just Fab

For those of you who know me, I'm not one to wear just black and white. I'm usually such a colorful person but this morning I really wanted to create a fun outfit wearing just white. I discovered a love relationship with white when I admire the simplicity and classic unchangeable look. This outfit is fun yet so simple. And the best part of living in California is being able to wear mini skirts in January. I guess I have no choice than to enjoy it while it lasts.

It's hot and it's cold

Coat: SheInside
Booties: Forever 21
Earrings: Julie Vos

This morning I was really looking forward to putting on my new pastel pink coat from SheInside and one of my scarfs from my collection, and I looked outside and it was hot!! I did tag along my coat since I was at school all day, but I abandoned my scarf because it was one of those weird days where it was warm but also windy. So I am sorry for the lack of winter outfits. On the bright note, I am so in love with this coat. It's light and a perfect way to dress up an outfit. As much as I love dressing up skirts and shorts, I am so ready to layer up.

Pelican Hill Wedding

Wedding reception at the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort

Dress: from sheinside
Accessories: Kendra Phillips, Kendra Scott, Michael Kors

Weddings always make me so happy! I think I tear up more than the one's getting married. My lovely cousin came to visit California for the weekend and invited me to her boss's wedding. I was speechless when I saw this stunning event take place. They seriously overfeed us with a 6 course meal that incorporates American and Asian style entrees. It was pretty last minute for me, so I just picked out something from my closet. I chose this cobalt blue dress from sheinside because it's very versatile. It can be worn casually or formally. Adding a pair of heels and accessories to an outfit really makes a difference. I am so in love with my new off the shoulder eyelash ruffle dress and with one of my new resolutions in mind, I will be focusing on reusing and wearing my clothes more than once styled in different ways.

Tulle'n Around

Tulle skirts collaboration with the beautiful Shannon from Upbeatsoles
See how we style our tulle skirts from two different states and two gorgeous styles. Dressy vs Casual Chic!

Shannon and I were so excited to prepare our tulle skirts collaboration! We wanted to do a dressy and casual look. Both looks define our personal styles while sharing a love for our favorite trend of tulle skirts, which is girly, chic and fun. I met Shannon through instagram, and I fell in love with her style and sweet personality. We continue to support each others blog by keeping up to date with each others social medias. I admire her not only because she is gorgeous but because we both share a similar interest, while staying on a budget. Go check out her blog (here), I love her style and I know you will too!

For this look I took on a more dressy girly approach, I paired it with a lovely white heels that I got for $4. I know right, it was a sale on top of a sale. I made my tulle skirt from scratch following a youtube tutorial that I found here. Simple and does not require any sewing. And to top it off, I added a sequin crop top to finish my outfit.

Sequin top: Forever21
Tulle skirt: made by me, similar here
White heels: thrifted
Necklace: Charlotte Russe

Hope you enjoy, thanks for reading.
